The Situation & Challenge
A global pharmaceutical pioneer that had always been an early adopter of artificial intelligence wanted to make a strategic commitment to become a pioneer of generative AI in the pharmaceutical industry.
The company needed to stand up a generative AI team that would unify the product vision for gen AI across the company’s 11 business units.
Our Solution
We requested each of the 11 business units to produce a backlog of gen AI use cases. We then worked with each business unit to prioritize the top two use cases. That allowed us to compile common requested capabilities into a gen AI product vision.
Finally, we translated technical requirements for 22 disparate use cases into a unified product roadmap, in order to prioritize highest impact features for a 1-year gen AI product roadmap.
